yea this one belongs in my safe, maybe he will forget to pick it up

That would be like forgetting where you parked a Ferrari!:):

I agree, are those the zebra colored grips? I have the black and grey operator II's on my Ruger S
R1911 and love the look on a stainless gun :)

Those are Operator IIs in MARSOC. I wasn't sure of the color... but they look awesome on it. I will have to schedule some range time soon.

Here's mine. Colt Combat Commander. I need to get the dovetails milled out for more modern sights.

I've installed all new wilson springs but also need to put in a new ambi selector.

Thanks. I reaaaally want a full length 1911, but it would be cheaper to modify this and make it what I want in the long run.

Looks like we are close. Let me know if you want someone to mill in sights or anything else you may want done.

Added a another 1911A1 to the bag-o-guns... This is a RIA TAC 2011 10mm and so far very nice straight out of the box.... Hard to find full powered 10mm ammo though....

My 1911 is a completely stock Springfield loaded..... until last night. For whatever reason the hogue wrap around grips on a 1911 fit me like they were taylor made just for my hand so I bought some for it. Even though I prefer the looks of the wood panels, I knew the hogues would fit me better. I was surprised when I went to buy them and that they had different colors available. I went with tan just to try something different.
