Misuse of children is a time honored tradition of dictators. It is easy to mold there young minds. Think = Hitler Youth turning in their parents to the Gestapol
It's apparent by this thread that INGO members have more than a modicum of intelligence and common sense. The NRA is more than a political/legal machine. Let's not forget the monthly publications, the schools, training and other events sponsored by the NRA. The NRA may not be the only, or...
When my agency transitioned from revolvers to auto-loaders, I carried a Commander for several years - on duty and off. It is very reliable. I carried the Remington 'flying ashtrays', and it fed & functioned perfectly.
It was mildly reworked, and I managed to qualify master with it. When the...
There was a time when guns were left "in the white" or unblued. Many are still around in collections and museums. Bluing is a controled rusting process. Guns that have lost their bluing but have otherwise had resonable care aquire a nice patina that some think adds class. As long as a firearm...
I was in Cynthiana (north of Lexington) last week investigating a fire loss. An officer parked behined me and when I came back to my vehicle the first words out of his mouth where "what kinda gun you carry?" We discussed Smith M&P vs. Glock vs. Sig for about ten minutes. Nice guy. I guess he...
I agree. The sights on the Sub 2000 are Minute of barn for my old eyes beyond 50 yards, but it functioned perfectly and can handle +P. The JRC was scoped and was keeping the groups at around 4" at 100 yds. However you do not want to fire +Ps in it. The JRC is a gas to shoot!
Riley Bros. on SR 421 (Michigan Rd.) south of Kirklin has them. Shot both the JR 9mm and the Kel Tec 9mm this weekend. Will post comparision first chance I get

Ahhhhh....
Apples to Apples, not Apple to oranges.
There is nothing that I see being built by TMW that is handgun cartridge carbine in the 9mm, .40 or .45 caliber size.
Just Right has all three of those and offers a conversion kit so you may change to all three with...
Went Saturday - seemed like there were fewer vendors, but a good attendence. Picked up a nice Ruger flat top. Got a knife from Brad. Could not find any ammo bargains (instead of panic buying people should get out & vote). I guess the days of $129.00 SKSs are long gone. Had a very good time...
smythe012, I am in Clinton County but travel - was in Crown Point & Hammond today. Willing to meet to see the JR in action.
Heard about feeding problems with the JR so picked up a Sub 2000 Saterday. But after mauling a JR I am still interested. There so cool - if they would just work...
I tought it was a bargain - if you don't factor in the $70.00 in gas for the trip south.
NO I'am NOT trying to run up my post count. The check's in the mail.
I might mention that I thought it was butt ugly until I took it to the range today. Nice group at the 50 but by the tme I got it sighted in and moved to 100 yard line I was shaking so bad from the cold I could hardly keep it on the paper. I'm starting to like it. Paid $360.00 for it plus...
Just picked up a G17 (9mm) at Orion in Jeffersonville yesterday - they had five more on the rack, several people were looking to buy when I snagged mine.
Played hooky today and went to the range. Droped in a new Wolf tube in my Glock as my original had a lot of miles on it. It was my duty piece for years. My groups shrunk 1&1/2 inch. In my case I don't shoot lead - just wanted to replace the barrel. When Bert Bastian ran Storm Lake in Washington...
