Question about IC 35-41-3-2 Use of force

I don't know all the facts but my impression is that shooting a windshield may not be perceived as reasonable or necessary.

      snubbie caucus...

.38 J-Frame. Have no use for .380 pistols (or revolvers). If I need a non-lethal weapon I'll use my LWS 32.

      Recent Range Trip

Had my daughters there recently. We also enjoyed the visit immensely.

      Need your wisdom

You ought to be able to find a new S&W SW9VE or SW40VE in the mid $300s, possibly as low as $299 if you shop around. Not the best range gun, but perfectly acceptable for home defense.

      I am annoyed and disappointed

As a small business owner it is never a plus to get an insurance check as that means you've paid thousands of dollars in deductibles AND future premium increases

      Diamond Back DB-9

You just put up the pics and I noticed the SN: A very early gun, perhaps one of the first few hundred made. Be prepared for intimate knowledge of Diamondback's customer service department.

      Diamond Back DB-9

Love mine when I'm carrying it as it is very light and convenient to carry. Hate mine when I shoot it as it constantly malfunctions. I guess that's why I don;t carry it.

Do you clean the rifle you are selling?

I never clean a gun before I sell it as it is already spotlessly clean.

      I am annoyed and disappointed

The gun shops in the Chicago area (Illinois side of the line) belong to an association that faxes such lists of stolen guns to other members of the association.

      couple ffl questions

I believe that the ATF since the 1990s requires you to have a local business license and comply with all local ordinances in order to get a NEW FFL. Also requires posted business hours for the public, which in most communities would require a store front.

Does this gun even exist? 9mm experts needed

Have held and dry fired the Solo. IMO the trigger is much better than the LC9. But you'll have a hard time locating one and it will cost you dearly ($700+) when you do.

I got pulled over last night...

I must be doing something wrong as I've never had an officer ask me such questions.

      SAO or DAO

Have carried SA (1911s) and DAO (Revolvers and Glocks) firearms. Own but will not carry DA/SA guns (SIGs, FNPs), because I do not care for the difference between first and second shot trigger pull. Would recommend that you train a LOT whichever way you go.

      Deb's Gun Range, Hammond, IN

I think Debs charges less if the transfer is from local Illinois shops but I could be mistaken. If they are internet purchases I can understand why they charge the rate they do. Unlike us, they're in a business, not a hobby. If they don't make enough to keep the doors open, we won't have a...

      Diamond Back 380

They have a very spotty record of reliability, particularly the earlier versions, but seem to be making some progress at fixing the issues. I too like the concept immensely. It reminds me of a Glock (slide) and Kahr (frame), but hey need to prove reliability before I consider purchasing one.
