Isn't part of the problem a lack of bullet choices beyond those specifically developed for .40 S&W? I see a lot of mentions of 180r, specifically Federal HST bonded being used, but I recall reading the increased velocity wreaks havoc on most .40 cal bullets...- mdmayo
