3x9x40 is my standard scope, I buy alot of these. Tasco to Leupold. It's what I have on almost all of my .22's. I switch over to .22 mag out to 200 yards. I like the fast focus eyepiece on the Bushnells, it really helps.
If you don't mind used, and keep your eyes open you can get lucky. I've picked up two Kimbers, one $550 and the other $400. Love my Springfields. Might have to try the RIA, sounds cool.
High Standard made some of the finest semi-auto .22's ever. There revolvers are a little touchy and complicated. I would suggest having a gunsmith check it. They can be a real bear to work on. The few revolvers I have owned, I have not shot.
I have a Bersa .380 plus curently. I have not had a problem with any of my Bersa's. I'm also a fan of the Kel-Tec pistols, very affordable an excellent starter. My favorite is a Kahr CW-9 fits me perfectly and wasn't real expensive. Find a store that has a range and rents different guns to...
Sig also has another .380 the 232. It is a little bigger and easier to shoot, but not to big. Great Outdoors in Jasper IN. has one of these used as well as the Polymer framed .40 used.
Blue Book and Standard Firearms lump these together as a group, maybe around $75. I have seen ones in this shape sell at the 1500 between $100 and $125. I have bought similar ones, model 45's around $50. Over the last few years Mossberg's and rifles made by them have started to increase in...
I caught part of an article that said Kel-Tec was working on an .22 mag rifle now. I didn't see anything on the website. Has anyone heard anything. :dunno:
I recovered one of hose recoil springs that goes to another demension about six months later. Also manage to recover a 1911 part out of my rock garden where it had launched too. Used a long magnetic bar that looked like a squigee.
The first revolver that I owned was a Ruger Single Six. When I first started shooting it I would sometimes wrap my finger in to far and I would end up with a group to the left. That's why I asked. Hadn't really done much shooting at all at that time. Pratice, Practice.
