Not any of the ones I have seen the Mark III mags have a long narror bottom plate. whilw the Mark II mags are short and wide.

You probably weren't looking at 22/45 MkII mags, then...

    Something not right

You can not use the standard mags in a 22/45 right but any of the 22/45 mags will work in a 22/45. The regular MKIII mags have become next to impossible to find but 22/45 mags were still showing up.

    22/45 MkIII mags

These are the one's I need I would like 3 more if I can find them. But no one has them. The mis-understanding comes from my bad description.

so are 22/45 markII or 22/45 mark III mags interchangable on a 22 45 mark III?

Yes, you can use 22/45 MkII mags in a 22/45 MkIII. They will not pop out upon release and will need to be pulled free, because the 22/45 MkII mag lacks the little hole with the spring in it found on the upper left side of the 22/45 MkIII mag.
