I spent all day going to church, changing oil filter and fuel filters, going to get batteries for the truck and swapping them out so I could watch football with a sense of accomplishment.

I come in to watch USC vs LSU on ABC and DirecTV just lost all Disney feeds due to contract expiration.

Hopefully they'll get it worked out. In two weeks.

Lets just say I am technically savvier than others. Our local ABC is not owned by Disney so I logged into the ABC app. Similar to how some TRIED to log into watch local news.......

Peacock has BIG10 but unfortunately the mouse has this game . Only missed some of the first quarter.

I got tired of picking up a set of digital calipers with a dead battery... WTH!

So I bought a Mennonite version. No battery! And it reads in American and foreign.

I think they are on to something with this no electricity thing. Doesn't need electricity so it always works?

I have some of those but am too dumb to read them.
I think this is what my grandmother was warning me about when she found out that we could use calculators in school.

Luckily my digital calipers still have the makings on them so I can continue to use them even with the battery being dead. I don't use them often enough to justify buying a new battery that will be dead in a year.

I don't trust electronics unless they can be verified and calibrated.
I've spent my life earning a living calibrating electronics. So my trust is very low for unverified equipment.

I’m constantly trying to translate those numbers to my mill or lathe dials, and never seems to translate the way I think it should.
