Yeah, it's tough being a Colts fan in NWI. One of the greatest moments of my life was seeing a soggy, dejected Brian Urlacher after the Colts beat the Bears in the Super Bowl. Why do Indiana people support a losing team from Chicago, when they have a winning team with the greatest QB in the NFL right here in their home state?????
The only think I can think of is they had a favorite team before the Colts came here. I did too which was the 49ers but I wanted to support our home team plus I can see the Colts play a lot more often and I can go to thier game a lot easier too. It's all about supporting our home team for me. And your right Manning is a great QB.
It hurt. Arian had his best game ever...good for him. Defense and O line need to improve. Good thing is the offense showed they can still score when behind.
Oh, and Bob Sanders, if you are hurt...please leave town.
I think a two win season is just what the Colts organization needs for taking taxpayer money. They stadium debt is for 30 years. The Gods should bless Jim Ir with 30 years of loosing seasons!! Imagine Lucas Oil 1/2 to 3/4ths full.
You people that gripe about the stadium seem to forget that it get used for more than just Colt games. There is a constant flow of events that come into Indianapolis that utilize the convention center, and Lucas Oil Stadium. The DCI drum and bugle corps have a 20 year deal to have their national finals at Lucas. These events generate money for the city, and the state, and broaden the tax base. Think about what downtown Indianapolis looked like before Conseco Fieldhouse, The Convention Center, and Lucas Oil Stadium. Think about all the revenue that is brought into the city, and all the jobs that are created, by the events that take place in these venues. Think about all the jobs that were, and are still created by the construction that goes along with these venues. Publicly funded stadiums are the norm and have been for some time. Downtown Indy used to be a dump, now it is a pleasure to spend time in the city. Quit whining, and consider yourself lucky to be a part of such a great city, and be happy that the Irsay's brought the Colts to town. If you want to whine make your own whining thread, this thread is for Colts fans.
Very true! People forget what downtown Indy was like BEFORE the Colts..
The Colts cannot survive this season unless they find a running game.
Hey, Peyton had a great game. Look at his stats. Oh, stats don't win football games.
