Why I would never CC

This thread is not an attack on CCers.

We don't attack CCers here on INGO. CCers get attacked in the real world.

This thread is intended to discuss various reasons of why CC is not for us.

If you are a CCer reading this, you may want to avert your eyes, lest this turn into a shouting match. We've already won that argument.


Here goes.

1. OC is so much more comfortable.

2. OC works a a crime deterrent.

3. I am not an undercover cop trying to trick you into attacking me so I can yell "Surprise!" and shoot you.

4. OC gives people an opportunity to ask questions and learn about gun laws.

5. OC desensitizes the sheeple, and they learn that guns aren't evil, oppressive tyrannical totalitarian socialist governments are.

6. OC gives me an opportunity to meet friends who would have otherwise not known that I carry.

7. It make me look bada**.

8. I'm an attention whore.

My guess is that number 7 and 8 are your real reasons and the others are just unintended consequences...

I hate to continually defend him because he is starting to make it difficult but don't take him so seriously. His sense of humor is hard to portray online.

We are here to exchange ideas and information regarding firearms,tactics, and safety.

This thread is has not provided any of that for some time.

As to what is funny and what ISN'T....online or not, obnoxtious is obnoxtious.

We are all here for our own reasons, some of mine include entertainment and having fun with like minded people. No one is making you read this thread and if you don't want to read someone else's posts there is a way of ignoring them spelled out very clearly in the FAQ the Scutter deleted and then put back. At least I think it's still there...

Prejudice much? Why are you directing your anger to me? I am not calling out CCers or making fun of n00bs (today) I was just trying to help some generally good guys understand that some members here post like have had a recent brain injury and not to hold it against them too much.

Obviously you have a tampon stuck in sideways and are starting to not only suffer from PMS but also early onset of Toxic Shock syndrome.
