I am going for the same reason that I buy electronics from Fry's sometimes over Newegg or Amazon. Because paying a little bit more to hold it first, have it now, and support a local business is worth it to me.

This doesn't mean I'll pay crazy high prices, but a little more or the same as online on a several hundred dollar item is no big deal to me.

Also it's a good day of entertainment if nothing else.

Them crops are not gonna dust themselves. :)

Ammoman.com has 1000 rounds of 7.62.x39 for $229 delivered to your door. I wonder if the Indo1500 can beat that?

The movies are only $6 in my town.

Really before every show the wine and cheese fest is aired here. Maybe Vegas can put some odds on the board to see if there will be a ND at the show this time around.

With the temps heating up, it should make for some very interesting smells.

Anything is what you make of it. Go or don't go, who cares.

    Huh. I mainly go for two reasons;
    • To hang out with peeps I don't get to see often
    • Reloading stuff
At the March show, I looked for the RN .452 230gr bullets that I usually get for $128... but the guy doesn't have that table anymore. I got his phone number from his friend (also a vendor) and got the same deal delivered to my door with just a quick phone call.
This last time, I also found Lrg pistol primers (by the 1k brick) for $19. I took the rest of what he had in those.

Funny, I go their just to see Jetgirl

the attempted robbery in the early morning hours of feb 14th woke us up and we need time for us. Our son needs us at home. I have a new grand daughter that is 2 hours away and I need to be able to go see her more than the shop would allow.

It's all good, we may try again in a couple of years.

    JG,

Are you mad cause I said I was going to flirt with Mrs. Gungho and not you?!
Um, yeah. That's exactly it. It's all about the JerFlirt.
Don't worry I'll flirt with you too...
Don't try to make friends now.
What you've destroyed between us can never be repaired.

Funny how an incident can put your whole life (and the way you choose to spend your time) in perspective, ain't it?
I wish the best for you MrsG... and if I get down to your area, I'll make it a point to come see you, but it won't be at this show. I only get one 1500 a year (or every other) and I cashed in all my chips for the March show.
