IJ-70 Makarov w/3 mags in a small plastic box. Tula SKS on the floor under my side of the bed with 200 rounds in stripper clips. MagLite and Ka-Bar. Yeah, wife thinks it's a little over-the-top.

On my side of the bed a highly modified colt Hbar, and a g19 with trijy low pros, Gemtech can, and blackhawk xiphos, stuffed full of Remington 147gr golden sabers, on the wifes side a FN ps90, 50rds of HP, and a Springfield XD subcompact with mounted X2, also stuffed with remy 147's. Then the most dangerous thing in the arsenal, 4ft 8 1/2 inches and 85lbs of blonde haired blue eyed German ancestered terror, THE WIFE. She even scares me sometimes.

My G30 stays by my bedside with a spare mag and my tac light. If I can get to my safe the first gun I'd grab would be either the Moss mav 88 12 ga with multidefense buckshot, or my yugo SKS with 20 rd tapco mags.

Kedie: I met Paul Tibbets himself at a Grand Rapids Michigan gun show about 11 years ago. I shook his hand and he autographed and dated a picture for me with him standing next to "The Enola Gay" the day he returned home from Hiroshima! No sh## it is dated 4-25-98 and I also have it hanging over my bedside. Your efforts that helped ending "The Big ONE" are invaluable THANK YOU SIR!! He just passed away not too long ago by the way!

Springfield EMP w/ 2 extra mags, M&P 15 w/1 extra mag, 2 flashlights. Laying next to me is my wife that is going thru menopause. You wake her up and me with a gun in my hand will be the least of your worries.

I keep vast amounts of things on the nightstand/headboard unit I designed and built (poorly :n00b:) last spring, but the G23 and the S&W 642 live in the dresser at the foot of the bed. I'd like to have a ready gun at bedside, but I don't wake up nicely and I figure that if I can't muster the brain cells to sit up and open a drawer I have no business getting behind the trigger.
