Reminds me of an aunt that used to give me a big hug at Thanksgiving. You would get lost.....

My Mom died this Veteran's Day. I composed this for her that night.

That was beautiful Alpo. And I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I'm taking my mom (97, turning 98 in April) to see my oldest sister (in assisted living) for Thanksgiving at my sister's facility. We have to be thankful for the time we get to spend with them while they're here. That's a wonderful tribute to your mom.

Thanks. My mom was 91 and as sharp as when she used to chase me with a broom. She has a large family that will miss her tomorrow.
