    The original is the best, of course.
    I heard Molly Hatchet's version of this one first and loved it...



    But then I heard the original and loved it also. Better? Maybe. Probably. But I loved it equally as well, but for different reasons. Just depends on my mood. They're really kinda different songs, but still the same song, if that makes sense...

    Never knew the Allman Brothers covered it. Not my cup of tea either. IMHO The original was some of Molly Hatchet's best work. That, and Fall of the Peacemakers. Good story, and excellent guitar work.

    Other way around. Allman Brothers is the original and Molly Hatchet covered them. But I heard Molly Hatchet's version first.
