Yeah, that didn't happen. The Japanese government did not halt their covid 19 vaccine program, and certainly not in favor of ivermectin. How is this still a story people are trying to push? Vaccines turned out not to be the great human savior it was reported to be. Ivermectin could be effective at treating/preventing covid. I think both those statements are arguably true. But the claims made here are provably not true. A Japanese health specialist said some positive things about Ivermectin. The Japanese government still had vaccines as the primary remedy against the pandemic and did not list Ivermectin as a viable esubstitute, ever.

Sadly I don't see this happening, something will get negotiated in dc and a "settlement" will be forced. I remember thinking that this would be a gold mine for personal injury law firms, but it's in the too big and too well connected to fail area now. The sick, dying and relatives of the dead will simply be SOL while the dc machine and it's money making buddies hoist another glass of Pappy Van Winkles over a lobster and Beluga sandwich.

Government, et al will pursue penalties against big pharma and extract as much money from them as possible without actually bankrupting them. It's the same playbook used against big tobacco and big opioid manufacturers and distributors (pharmacies). Uncle Sam approves product, allow product to flow freely, returns to product producers years later to recoup billions in profit from said product "for the people". And just like tobacco and opioids, the vaccine that isn't will continue to flow.
