That time Trump was still loving on the vax manufacturers.
That time Trump was still loving on the vax manufacturers.
It was from a rally where he was heaping praises on a Johnson and Johnson big wig and his wife who were in attendance saying something about how rich they were. I think he was saying something like "Nobody has more money than this guy" or something like that. It didn't appear like it was a knock on him getting rich off the vax or anything like that to me. He seemed genuinely happy that they were there.Looks like it was deleted
That was it…and the audience, instead of cheering like they do with his every other announcement, largely were quiet. It was from a rally where he was heaping praises on a Johnson and Johnson big wig and his wife who were in attendance saying something about how rich they were. Yep. Trump was in effect trying to say don't you just love this guy when he announced that they were in attendance, and it got what appeared to be a luke warm response. That was it…and the audience, instead of cheering like they do with his every other announcement, largely were quiet.
And that’s being generous.Yep. Trump was in effect trying to say don't you just love this guy when he announced that they were in attendance, and it got what appeared to be a luke warm response.
An obvious attempt to keep the troops rallied. " C'mon guy's Trump is gonna win"
I am as certain as I am writing this that Donald Trump will never again be elected president of these United States.
Understand that, while I could no longer in good conscience vote for Trump, I am not a Trump hater. For eight years, I defended him when I believed he had been wronged.
I’ve been a harsh critic the many times when he has deserved it, but I’ve applauded Trump-administration policies and, in particular, his judicial nominations. I voted for him twice.
I can’t do that anymore. The greatest peril for the country is four (more) years of Democrats in power. The difference this time ’round is that Trump’s nomination would guarantee that this peril becomes our reality.
You would think so. it would be a contradiction if he didn't since he said he is not a Trump hater. Especially when it appears he feels like most of us that four more years of the Democrats would be a fate worse than any republican. I'm not sure if he mentions that he would not vote for Trump in the general, but there is no doubt he is firmly dead set against him being the nominee.I don’t know if I believe the defender of DJT rhetoric. I suspect he was part of the cabal in 2020. But about Trump’s chances in 2024. He’s probably not wrong.
However, if McCarthy is sincere about the dangers to this country if Democrats win again, you’d think he’d vote for Trump and support him as the Republican candidate in 2024 if he wins the nomination.
Trump diehards insist that we grant this admission, intended to admit the rest of us into their national suicide pact: Sure-loser Trump gets nominated, then barely compos mentis Biden romps to a second term.
Like I said though, I think he's right about that. I have serious doubts that DJT could win in 2024. At least as things stand now.You would think so. Here is what he says about "Trump diehards" and the nomination.
As I see it right now, with the election laws remaining as they are and certain locales not policing the ballots and ballot counters, I don't think there's any republican that is going to win the presidency until houses are put in order.Like I said though, I think he's right about that. I think the point that McCarthy and others are trying to make is that a number of people who once voted for Biden were simply doing so because they hated Trump and they would not necessarily turn out and vote for Biden in greater numbers again with as much enthusiasm like they did in 2020 if the nominee was someone other than Trump. As I see it right now, with the election laws remaining as they are and certain locales not policing the ballots and ballot counters, I don't think there's any republican that is going to win the presidency until houses are put in order.
And I think he might be right on that point, but at this time I don't see any republican winning given the vote counting schemes in places like Detroit, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Vegas and Madison.I think the point that McCarthy and others are trying to make is that a number of people who once voted for Biden were simply doing so because they hated Trump and they would not necessarily vote for Biden in greater numbers again with as much enthusiasm if the nominee was someone other than Trump.
Oh there is no doubt that it could possibly be a factor against any Republican nominee. I won't rule it out entirely. They just seemed to be extra motivated in 2020 when Trump was the nominee just like all Biden voters were against Trump. I believe it's not necessarily that they liked Biden in such great numbers it was more so because they hated Trump with a passion which is why i tend to agree that if Trump wasn't a candidate for 2024 they would not be as motivated for Biden like they were in 2020.And I think he might be right on that point, but at this time I don't see any republican winning given the vote counting schemes in places like Detroit, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Vegas and Madison.
