Thank you.The Democrats have wised up and turned toward the center to soak up the disenfranchised; I don't expect that to change. I expect them to keep silent on BLM, trans rights, defund the police, etc.
What the post Trump GOP looks like is harder to see Who will step into the vacuum?
Most of them like Pence are already had-beens in terms of their political career, and by openly endorsing Kamala they've completely ostracized themselves, so they certainly aren't doing it for they're own ambitions. I truly believe they are doing it for the good of the party and the country as they see it.
Others may disagree with their views, but I believe they are altruistic.
Romney failed to ignite the base and was facing a popular incumbent. 2014 saw a win for the GOP, so yes I think we were on the right path.
I'm general, Banks, Young, Holcolm, on a presidential level, maybe Haley, Cruz
Is like to see us get back to pro-life, steering foreign policy, anti-decificit, and be in to win.
I feel betrayed on pro-life issues, and even what I thought were anti-abortion have so quickly thrown it by the wayside when Trump did.
On the last point, we can't win by constantly shrinking. This One True Scotsman GOP will never work. This TDS RINO nonsense will only serve to shrink the party down to hard-line idealist with no pragmatism.
Is like to get back to a place where politicians could reach across the isle to make good changes. Now we politicians who seemingly only care about how they score on Twitter.
For example immigration, instead of working to solve it now, we've used it as cudgel to get Trump back. Look at how much he talks about immigration and tell me he didn't spend the last four years trying to obstruct any progress on that issue.
Much appreciated.
