After the Attorney General said he doesn't have the ability to make new laws on his own and suggested a special session, he removed that part. Pesky Constitution.
Good!

If iT SaVeS jUSt OnE LiFEeee!!!
just got back from a week in TN, crossed paths with 10’s of thousands of people, didn’t touch a mask the whole time.
nobody in my family group has a single symptom, it’s been a week. I’ve seen estimates that say 100% compliance will see a 30% case reduction, yet NOWHERE I’ve been has more than a 50% mask wearing ratio.
If mask are the answer. why in the socialist paradise of California that has had a mandatory facemask why are they #1 for flu deaths and infection rate?

Having 1.3x the population of the second largest state (and over 65x the smallest) might have an impact on counting stats.

An "infections per capita" rate might be more informative.

Definitely more informative BUT does it conflict with the agenda? If the answer is yes, you'll never hear it. If the answer was no, it would be all over the media! Which brings a question to mind, what has happened to deaths from the plain old flu? It would appear that they have diminished dramatically this year. Those who wear tin foil hats and have inquiring minds would like to know
They certainly are NOT reclassifying flu deaths as Covid deaths if that is what you are implying!!
Ah
Well, in case I misread your post, feel free to transfer my reply to you into a reply to Fauci and his hypocrisy.
Things in purple are to be read with a heavy dose of sarcasm. Most of us are pretty confident the death numbers are inflated with flu and other common conditions. Are you 100% sure? Not implying anything, just a question. Maybe misclassification? It happens every day.

Then they didn't need to mandate it corporate wide, it probably still won't be enforced tomorrow. Especially since there is no penalty other then potentially trespassing for not wearing one.

It’s not that he removed it. It was announced on Wednesday that it would be a clas B misdemeanor. But when the actual EO was issued on Friday it wasn’t there. The ***** ass ***** just didn’t include it. Also, the ***** ass ***** insisted that he did have the power to do that. He said his office researched it before announcing it and would not have included it in the announcement if it weren’t within his power. He refused to comment why it wasn’t in the actual EO. Because he’s a ***** ass *****.After the Attorney General said he doesn't have the ability to make new laws on his own and suggested a special session, he removed that part. Pesky Constitution.
Not wearing a mask is not trespass. If the proprietor asks you to leave because you're not wearing a mask (or for any other reason, for that matter), your refusal to leave (masked or not masked), could escalate to criminal trespass. The wearing of or refusal to wear a mask does not factor.
I would also look at states who have driven the curve down (or not). Unfortunately there is no way to isolate one action (like masks) from other actions (like voluntary or mandated decline in gatherings) to have absolute proof of the contribution of widespread mask use. Even with mandates, the practice seems to vary by community. An "infections per capita" rate might be more informative.

I don't know what the recorded 2020 flu deaths are. Those normally are not updated quickly the way Covid is now. It's a reasonable assumption that flu numbers are down because the same measures being taken to slow Covid would likely slow flu transmission.
