    still check the gig line but in my old age have to now check to see if the zip is in the up position LOL
    Ma'am and Sir still in the vocabulary.....

    phrase from AIT....get your ducks in a row still used with my students in 4th grade

    still check my tool inventory after working on bike or vehicles as a left over of my aircraft crewchief training :>)

    Man, you guys are lifers. I use phonetic every once in awhile for convenience. I've often found that if they guy on the other end wasn't in the military, you might as well be speaking swahili if you try using the phonetic alphabet to spell a word.

    I use plenty of jargon including curse words (unfortunately hard habbit to break)
    haircut
    sir mam
    smoking
    eat fast
    i am very very blunt and tell it the way it is
    profile probably a bit too much
    get very very irritated when i hear people complaining about being "tired" or "cold" or "hungry" or "bored" man do they have no clue

    oh and i use the phonetic alphabet alot and get irritated when my mom says "boy" instead of bravo

    I taught my Allen Bradley sales rep the phonic alphabet because of the way the part numbers are! :D

    Bravo Foxtrot or Bravo Delta are still two that I say.....

    When telling people my phone mumber or zip code, I say ZERO.... not the letter O.
    as in: one, three, zero, eight, seven = 13087


    When I still smoked, I field stripped every cigarette down to tiny pieces before throwing away.

    I refuse to clean toilets. I did enough of that to last a lifetime.:rolleyes:

    I don't camp or shave any more. I use a set of beard trimmers every time I get a hair cut. Yes, I still have a military style. My hair won't style and I can't stand it touching my ears.
