Back from town. Feed store was out of corn. Have to go back later but should be able to pick up some eggs when I go so I guess it is okay. The egg guy is going to be in later today. Hard to be fresh eggs for $1 a dozen. He has no idea he is too cheap.

More steelworkers laid off. My company just shut down "Midwest" down the road.
This keeps happenjng, I won't have to worry bout contract negotiations in the fall.

Why is that ACT, I thought the auto industry was doing okay??? Who usually buys your steel?? Are the Chinese undercuting American steel again??

Several Amish around here at $2 a dozen. I get mine from my Dad for free, but it's a 90 minute drive up there.

I'll get right on that. I have to clean them so that should give me a discount...they aren't clean when I get them and some are pretty bad. The last guy I was buying from was $2.50 a dozen and half of the eggs would be bad from being too old. This guy sold me 9 dozen the last time and considering how dirty some were before I cleaned them up, I didn't find any bad ones. I was okay with cleaning them to save the extra money.

I used to get $3 a dozen when I sold them and it still didn't really cover the feed bill.
