    Me and my 7 year old Golden Retriever are still dealing with the the loss of my 11 year old Border Collie Mix 2-1/2 months ago.
    Being rushed to the vet and learning her spleen had burst with no hope of survival was not a dignified last day on earth for her.
    We rescued her @ 7 months and me and the late Mrs. IBM gave her the life she deserved. Friends, family and neighbors all miss her.


    Okay.
    Instead of worrying over the religious implications, and getting into a big INGO discussion, how about just enjoying the meaning of the cartoon?

    I was reminded of what kind of people are at google (as if I needed a reminder) by the fact they have the most elaborate doodles on the search page for obscure individuals that most have never heard of, but for Memorial Day they had a completely unadorned search box (with google in dark grey, not black) and no mention whatsoever of remembrance or appreciation of those who gave all
