so I get a call tonight and my daughter asks me "How long did you keep it a secret?"

I played dumb, even though I knew what she was talking about.
Then when she told me I filled her in... I kept a secret for a good 4 weeks from my daughter!!!

She became engaged tonight... it's bittersweet.

Tomorrow is 6 mths since Mom died and it's been nagging me all day.
The girls were feeling the grand baby moving last night and all I want to do is be close and give her a hug.

Lord help me get through the holiday

Congrats to the daughter... Mine got engaged 3 months after my Mom died and her wedding was the weekend before the 1 year anniversary of her death. Talk about a roller coaster year for me. Everything was bitter sweet, happy one moment, crying like a baby the next.

Found out the day my FIL died that I'm going to be a Granny again. Again Bittersweet.
