Hi Peeps, Well it's official, I won't be making it to the meet and greet. Last weekend there was a glimmer of hope because we got a lot of work done and the week's weather looked promising to get a lot more done, but my FIL took a turn for the worse and has been in the hospital since Tuesday. They transferred him to IU Med Center last night at midnight. He said the ambulance ride was like riding in the back of a cattle truck. At least he still has his sense of humor. Still hoping they can put the j-tube in today if not it will be Monday. Someone has to be with him 24/7, so we are taking shifts. Does anyone know if you can carry at IU Med Center I'd hate to think of making that long drive and the parking garage area unarmed especially at night.

Unfortunately I don't have any pepper spray, I looked at getting some but never have.

Could stop by TSG and see MrsG on the way up to grab some. Its usually not very expensive and at least maybe that'll get you back to your car to get your gun. Or just carry Concealed and play dumb unless they have metal detectors.

I've carried concealed all week at the local hospital, except for the one time I took my fleece jacket off to put on my FIL and you could see my IWB holster and grip. I just made sure I was facing the nurse when she came in the room. :D I didn't want to startle her. Our hospital doesn't have any signs up so I wasn't too concerned but out town is naive (is that spelled right?)

I'll conceal carry at IU Med Center, I just don't want to make a scene if it's not allowed. I'll carry more concealled then too.

Yeah, I'd do that if I were you. Act like you forgot or didn't see a sign. I think being a woman you'd get more leeway anyway

Sorry to hear about your FIL and that you won't be able to make it tomorrow Rayne. I know what its like taking care of in-laws.
