Aparently you have had a hard past dealing with some issues like this in you family. Well, some of us may have too. I can tell you that you hope for a kid is different if it is your own child. No family means as much as your own child.

I was in those trenches too and handled my share of parenting while their real ones were no where to be found.

You deal wiith the lies, stealing never ending drug use and mental abuse and see just how much you can take before throwing in the towel.

Again, it's easty to sit on the sides and coach. Get in the game and play ball.

I was in the game, with my brother and because we didn't give up he is now an upstanding citizen, owns his own home, has a full time job, is married, has a beautiful son despite the label of felon that he will now carry his whole life. We didn't give up on him though.
So don't come in here preaching and thinking you are the only one who has been through it. You aren't now nor never will be.

We post a link like that all the time, when we go out into the big scary forum and find something we might want others to see. I'm not the first, but I don't remember anyone else have someone follow them in here and continue to argue.

It really doesn't matter. Everyone is entitled to a rebuttal and he did just that.
