we love you Rayne. I haven't read enough of that thread to get in the pissing match. I do agree however that someone without kids really doesn't have a clue what it is like to be a parent. Parenting is 24/7/365. It doesn't end at the end of the school day or the ball game or when the sun goes down or when the going gets tough. You don't give up on them and you let them know you aren't. We as parents know this.

I do know that as a parent, you don't give up on your kids... PERIOD
I don't believe anyone said you couldn't say what you felt, doesn't mean we have to agree with it, nor do you have to agree with what we say.

You are a welder and not a parent, you are not qualified because you witnessed how your family handled your niece's problems. By the way how did that turn out? Parenting is 24/7/365 your whole life. Your responsibility, your heart ache, your joys. You can divorce your spouse but not your children.

Don't tell me my story from a few brief blurbs... You have not a clue.
I was in those trenches too and handled my share of parenting while their real ones were no where to be found.
You deal wiith the lies, stealing never ending drug use and mental abuse and see just how much you can take before throwing in the towel.
Again, it's easty to sit on the sides and coach. Get in the game and play ball.
