I have hurt my neck on more than 1 occasion as a younger man. That and other bodily injury's as I thought (like so many other serious young men...) that I was indeed immortal.
Had I known then what I am sure of now I might have been a bit kinder to my body.

Thinking about this I see that everything I did just seemed so necessary at the time so now I live with those decisions.

Daughter has the Fibro thing. It does some very weird things to her body as it is nerve related. Could be the issue.

Mine are not all from being fool hardy. Couple of work related injury's in the mix. Mainly dirt bike racing and other motorcycle related blunders.
