Fired for calling off on a day you requested but were denied.

Had my old boss try and pull that on me before. Requested off my birthday which was a thursday. Got denied, so i worked it anyway. The next day i called off for a 3 day weekend.

He seemed a little pissed and threatened to let me go. It was my first call in and ended up he couldn't do anything. Now that i think about it, it kinda makes me giggle.
