    No I was shredding chicken and picked up a glass plate that must have been touching the soup pot cause it was really hot. I didn't want to drop all the chicken drippings on the floor so I didn't just drop it. No blisters but some white skin.

    Ouch. Keep it clean!

    When I was 16 I worked at a summer camp int he kitchen. One of the supervisors told me to get that pan of chicken out of oven number 4 and put it on the serving line. Being the bright young lad I was I reached in and grabbed the pan without the oven mitts. Yes, I dropped it an the floor spilling hot grease and chicken all over. She just looked at me then called me a dumbass. She got no arguement from me. She did take me to the doctor when she saw the skin on my finger tips start to peel off.
