I don't drink any caffiene after around 1pm... go to bed at 11ish. I'm sure it's all out of my system by then

Melatonin is a naturally occurring chemical in the body. It's what your body produces when it gets dark out and it makes you feel sleepy. It will help you fall asleep, but if you stay up longer than the sleepy feeling it won't do anything.Might be worth a try. Some of those sleeping pills once you start taking them you'll HAVE to take them to get to sleep.
I don't do very many sweets at all and no caffiene at all anymore. Eat lots of fruit though to keep me going during the day. I'd try to cut it out for a week or two to see if it helps. Might be worth a shot
