still no, paracord is just too flimsy and flexible I have a braided solid nylon western wear belt that I have worn for 20 years and while works great as a belt it sucks as a gun belt.
Gotcha. Just seemed like a great way to have lots of cordage in one place. Maybe I could use the same technique to make some straps for a bag or something.

it should hold your pants just fine, just don't count on it to hold your gun.
I have plenty of belts already for that. I could really use a good gun belt though.
