    I found an original kit for one of the old V8 motors they made and built it a few years ago. The motor I have will mount directly into that chassis and actually run it.

    They make newer versions of model engine kits but they aren't nearly as detailed and don't have nearly as many moving parts.

    that's really cool.

    It is. The transmission, diff, hydraulics and suspension are all fully functional. The engine I built took a lot of hours to get all the parts shaped properly to fit and function as intended. It has nearly every moving part a real V8 engine would have as well. I'd love to mount it into one of these chassis!
