I'll be shocked if they don't just send one out to ya.

Wow, I want to talk to their I.T. guy!
I'm not a fan of the frn handles either, they do feel cheap. I guess they hold up well though!
I wanted a spyderco because I didn't want the thumb studs. A few of the kershaw's have flippers, but couldn't find the size I wanted with a flipper.
Rayne what do you use to sharpen with?

I thought the same thing as Rayne when I got my first FRN Spyderco, a waved Endura. I thought "WTF? This feels like those cheap hardware store knives they keep in tiny buckets at the counter!" But as I used it I saw just how durable the FRN was. And the lockup was still positive and what I'd expect from Spyderco.
Although I later upgraded to the G10'd Manix 2, I still use the Endura when swimming.
We use a wet stone and then when we're grafting we use a diamond Coated knife sharpening steel to touch up the blades. Knives get a good sharpening at the beginning of grafting season and then depending on what type of wood we are cutting, we will do another sharpening about at the half way point.

Man, if I could get "stuff" literally through email, that would be fantastic
I can see that, it's just the first impression I guess.
That's awesome Rayne, not to many people can use sharpening stones anymore.
Ninja punched!
Just got my new spyderco in the mail today... I'm a little disappointed.
Those were the role players that did that.
These kind of role players?
