I have a lot of maters coming along.
    Cucumbers are doing very well.
    Potatoes are monsters
Onions are just soso this year. We got some pretty poor bulbs from the store.

I am sure there will be a few items here and there.
We put 18 cucumbers in the ground and all but 1 came up.
Our Mater plants usually put out ample biggens.

The Mrs is eating healthy with me. She has become fond of things out of her sisters garden, which is just a couple small planter boxes.

We have never put in a garden, it's a whole summer of work to do the demo of the existing shenanigans before we even think about planting and I've put it off pretty well.

    I have a tiller.
If you do it right the work is really minimal.
Weed control is the real issue. Many different ways to get that done.

Yeah, the backyard is a weed jungle. There is some work in tearing all that out, then the planter boxes that attach to the garage are falling away, gotta fix those back up. And get more topsoil to fill in what washed out.

Yeah getting ready from that point is a chore.
After years of doing/changing/re-doing and more changing I think we are set now.
Or at least I am hopping so anyway.
