    Sad news about Sam, keeping him in my thoughts today

    Maybe if he was at home this time, as opposed to traveling, he was treated quicker and has better chance of quick recovery?

    I don't know much about strokes but the little I read about it mentioned that the sooner you get medical help the better your chances of recovery are.
    Well like pretty much any medical condition I guess.

    Yard is all mowed and looks much better. I need to go help clean the fish I guess. Fishermen have returned.

    This stroke sounds like it was more serious than the last, but I don't have any info other than that.

    Recovery takes time, but it is possible. My dad has recovered most of his previous functioning from his stroke two years ago. He had to do inpatient rehab for six weeks though. Without knowing for sure just how bad this was, I don't know what will be required for Sam. Prayers are definitely happening here!
