I have a 6' tall, 13 year old boy living here. It takes at least 3 trips just for a weekly shop. And just an FYI, he was in school yet when I got groceries.
If you take off the dog and cat food, it took me 6 trips.

I remember it well. We had two teenagers and we couldn't keep enough food in the house.

Our food bill went way down. We had two fat kids. Funny, after they moved out, they both got skinny. The wife used to be a good cook and even a better baker. The pies, cakes and cookies were always sitting out ready to go....
