    Spent 20 years there, good place for the kids to grow up. When they moved away and I retired we just tried woods living for a change. I miss the water sometimes, but it's better for younger folks with kids. Like Sunshine says, wood boats are high maintenance but good looking, sort of like women.

    Up there where you live Sunshine the lakes are nicer, more gravel, clearer water. I remember camping near one when I as in the scouts called lake Wabee or something like that.

    I grew up across the street from a lake and near a woods. Perfect for a boy who didnt want to stay home.
    My dad and I spent every weekend at a lake fishing. He never had a boat though. It's kind of funny looking back at it.
