    My 75b rings the 100yd steel just fine. I have no doubt 9 out of a rifle would perform even better.

    True, I can do the same thing, just not as well as you ;). But, no one volunteers to hold my targets so I guess it isn't that bad.

    I have considered that. Definitely puts a cap on the range though.

    The CZ Scorpion is pretty cheap comparatively. You can buy the pistol now, start the NFA paperwork, then get the stock and an optic as cash flow allows. Spread it out.

    Also, getting out beyond 100yds would be nice to be able to do. I don't think a 9mm carbine or a .45 carbine is what I should be looking at. But, I am here to learn.
