I think I'm some kind of throwback, or maybe just perversely into "weird" foods. I really want to try some lutefisk, but I'm not quite comfortable marinating fish in drain cleaner without some guidance. I look for recipes online like for penguin, but squirrel is a lot easier to find. I'd eat raccoon or possum if I shot and skinned them myself. These people in my house keep objecting to me raising rattlesnakes as food. I swear, get married or have children and they think they're entitled to an opinion.

At some point in my young life I have shot, skinned, watched it be cooked and consumed about any "Game" that inhabits Indiana including Ground hog/possum/snake and so on.
I have all but lost my desire for game.

My parents (and extended family) were too "civilized" to do game outside of some fishing and a pheasant now and again when my dad went hunting with some friends. I'm just a caveman or something. I never even had deer until I was an adult.

Pigs feet and ham hocks are instrumental parts of Southern cooking.
I never got down with ****lins or ox tail and such though.
