Yeah I'm thinking of another beach where you just have 70 stairs, way more on this one.
So far you just saw half of the stairs but there are way more. :faint:

Gonna throw a nice .22 Lever Action rifle up in the classifieds later. Any of the LT6 interested first.

It's a Western Auto/Mossburg Palomino. Tube fed lever action with a 24" barrel. With .22 shorts is almost pellet gun quiet.
Gonna put the money towards the AR I'm building for my daughter. I'd sell it to one of you guys for $150 with the original equipment (crappy) scope

Did they have you fill out any forms about in case of a slow down on where you would like to move to? They did that to the crane men. Not sure if they did it with everyone.

Systems.... they just point and say.... go to....
If you're lucky, they give you a phone number so you can figure out your start time and how you get there.

I looked it up, it has 231 stairs.
It was first built in wood in 1890, then destroyed by the Germans during WW2 and finally rebuilt with concrete after the war.

It's already tough climbing those stairs today I can't imagine the GIs doing it during WW2, with the Germans shooting at them and using ladders instead of stairs. :faint:

You can do amazing things when people are shooting at you.
