he was the lobbing heavy artillery type guy. so I guess he was one of the smart ones too

Funny how we couldn't stand each other when I was young. Fist fights, he'd throw me out. We never got along till I got older. Now we talk everyday.

sounds like hubby and his Dad. Day hubby was able to beat his Dad down was the day Dad said his job was done. Now they talk almost everyday.
