I'm doing well. Better than I deserve.

(We talked about that last night at youth group - I'm a small group leader there - talked about how "How are you" gets a general "I'm good, thanks" response and nobody really cares. If you say, "better than I deserve" people will ask "why?"...it was interesting.)

he has 2 interviews tomorrow, another one Thursday. he isn't waiting on Allison, but he wants that one the most.
And you are so right. so many use "how are you" as a general hello anymore. Even if you respond "crappy" to some, they don't even catch it.

I am doing very well though. Staying positive that everything will turn out fine
