    Well I saw pictures.But I was never close enough to fight one, I'm not that manly you know. :):
    We dont have much bears in France, especially around here.

    We have wolves and bisons for some weird reasons though ... :dunno:

    Well yeah we don't exactly have bears roaming around Indianapolis but I've seen one before. Not close enough to pet it or anything of course

    Looks like there are no Black Bears in Indiana, maybe some other kinds in Brown County.Not sure.

    I know there are bears in Brown County. Many many years ago I was with some friends and we got hit by one. Honest. We think it must have been running down a hill chasing something and it ran right into the side of the van we were in. There was fur and blood all over the place.

    I have seen threads about that, looks like some people think it's a myth.

    I don't think so. I didn't see it after it hit us so it must have run off. That was pretty wild though. The park ranger offered to clean it up for us and my friend said no. He said to leave the fur and the blood on the van because otherwise his dad would never believe the damage to the van was caused by a bear :laugh:
