My son made sure I got Windows 7 when I got my laptop and I think I am glad for that advice!

I was happy with XP. Not so much with any later incarnation of winders

There are not very many laptops out there with windows 7. I heard there is some kind of app that makes 8 look like 7.

In all fairness, I'm adapting to the new keyboard and touchpad also. I've never had a touchpad that you could actually click like a mouse.

Last laptop I ordered I wiped it clean and did my own install of the OS. I don't care for that bloatware the manufacturers add.
