At the ER, we are going to put up a Christmas tree, and we are each supposed to bring in one ornament that represents us. Since I can't find a rainbow dog with a gun riding a dragon, I think I'll just go with a dragon.

I think she's starting to feel a bit better. That infection in her eye went on for a long time before we noticed it. She's so shaggy and low to the ground, we hardly ever see her eyes.

I do think she will be permanently blind after this, but maybe she'll surprise me. She'll adapt... it will just take time.

My sister had a GSD that went completely blind from an auto-immune disease. She adapted fine and still lived a full and pretty normal life. Most people didn't even notice she was blind.
