How do you like your new CZ compact? I fired my new Springfiel RO, loved it but might have to go to a fiber optic front sight, me eyes are are not so good.

I do like it. Somethings I like better than the PCR and some I like with the PCR better. I just need the time to get both of them to the range.
What can you tell me about the alloy frame of the PCR?

Thanks CM, I will break out the paint before the next range trip! I thinking new glasses are in order soooooon!!:@ya:
CT2 has one on his RO for the same reason. We :fogey: are going blind.
Try some bright paint. Lure paint is luminescent to a point. The yellows are brilliant. Put some on the front blade. It will help.

I painted the front blade of my model 10 with neon green nail polish. It helped a lot, and it was only $2 at Walgreens. I did the rear sight with orange. It's ugly, but that gun is a shooter anyway.

Your decocker PCR weighs in at 1.7 lbs vs your manual compact at 2.1 lbs so your preceived recoil is more noticable with the PCR. The grip feel should feel the same with the same style of handgrip. I like the feel of a set of Houge grips cut down to fit the compact or PCR.

How does the the alloy frame hold up?
