I feel so helpless

the boy was eaten alive by something at his friends house.. fleas it looks like.
So I have stripped his bed, given him benedryl liquid and used topical benedryl on the bites and as of now he is content.
I won't allow him to spend the night at this friends house again

Inform the family? Is it possible they don't know about it?

I doubt it, as soon as I saw all the bites all over him I remember seeing the boy at scouts with bites all over him (all the time). Very good family but this may not be an area they aren't real concerned with.

it really is because he really likes this kid but even he said he won't go back to spend the night anymore

Standing in the datacenter. It's loud (even with my earplugs in), hot (because I'm working in the non-chilled aisle), and I've already had to go back to my car twice for parts. Even though the place has retina scanners and palm-print readers, exiting the datacenter to get back to my car and then get back in again is a good ten-minute ordeal.

SO, bad I had to grow extra arms just to say how bad it was.

I think I can get it for about twice that though. So, I'm kicking it around. I don't need it though, so maybe trying to find someone who does.
