I quit going to Steak & Shake. Their burgers are so thin you can almost see through them now and they used to be good. And the one near me still hasn't opened their dining room since Covid started.

I was much faster 35 years ago back in high school! Not so much today. That's why I carry...just to buy a little more time to git!

The reality is that last year was pretty crazy in the landscape industry and I just didn't keep up. Trying to be a little more active now!

Howdy wcd! We've got no snow up here, just cold temps. Things looked messy down in KY though. Big wreck on I-64 caused a huge backup about like the I-95 thing out east.

Susan talked to the boys' father again this afternoon. I'm optimistic that this custody thing is going to happen. He told her that even his family had been telling him that it wasn't fair to us to be raising his kids and that he needed to step up, and he agreed.

That gave her some reassurance. She also expressed her desire to be involved in their lives and to not be cut out. He assured her that she would definitely not be cut out.

I think he's going to be taking them for a couple of weeks, and she's going to fly down to Florida, stay with some friends and lay on a beach. Guess I'll have the house to myself. I might even get to go to the range if the weather cooperates!
