Thing is, no one really knows how long they sit on the shelf before you buy it.

Mine acted weak after sitting a couple of days last week in the cold. It's on its way out.

When it went stupid cold a week or so ago (2*) CKW's Acadia would not start, and the battery is 1 month old as to install date. 10 minutes on the charger and it lit right up. Been fine ever since. I put a meter on the battery, and it showed 11.5V before the charger was hooked to it.
These new cars never totally shut down. The ecu continues to process.

Susan's battery is still charging, so I'm just going to leave it on the charger all night and see how it looks in the morning. If it hasn't charged up by then, I'll take it to Autozone and get it checked and replace if necessary.

Our 7 year old granddaughter just texted this to Susan while she was talking on the phone to Susan and me on her other grandma's phone. So that means she would have had to go to text, and to an internet browser to find the pic, and then send it to us via text. I have no idea how to do that.
