Bring it on old man :fogey:

Tell you what. Get the Cavalier. Practice. Wait for me to get my 4000 Lb Impala rolling and lets play.
    You might be surprised.
    You might not.....

The highly tuned supercharged cavaliers that were roaming the streets some years ago would run 12.60's all day long. Factory they were low 14's but the tuners could squeeze it all out of the little 4 holers. I did see one that could do steady 30's but he was pushing the head gaskets on it.

Thee one in the ad you reference will be spitting the trans out of it if driven "Properly"

Those Chevels were the ugliest cars Chevy ever rolled out the door besides a "CAVALIER".................:):
I'd have to disagree with you. The GM Colonnade body was one of the sexiest, just figure out a way to size the bumpers down.

I just pulled the pumpkin out of a 54 year old car that hasn't been driven in over 20 years; WOW I'd have never thought that 90 wt gear oil could be used as wheel bearing grease! I wish I had taken a picture of it but when I pulled the pumpkin I got very little oil coming out of it and just thought it was low on fluid as it has been leaking around the pinion seal since I bought it 1 1/2 years ago. When I looked up in the housing it literally looked like it had a couple of quarts of bearing grease stuffed in there. I just scooped it out by hand! Always check ALL the fluids in those barn finds kiddies!
