Quite possibly the best hot rods out there. Can do anything to them you can do to a car and you still have a usable pickup. Completely blank canvas.Would a Chevy C-10 be considered a hot rod? Because I want one.
People have lost their frigging minds.
Cool! Make sure you are looking at a BOP th400 assuming it will has a Poncho underhood. Chevy th400 is different. On the springs, car on jack stands, jack under the lower control arm. Loosen the bolts and let the jack down slowly. That's the easiest and safest way to do it if you are keeping the brakes together. Finally got a court order for a new title on my 68 lemans, just ordered coils, struts, shifter, external hard ware, and a few other odds and ends supposed to look at a transmission on sunday. Anyone trying to unload a TH400? Im kinda new in this area and only have a couple friends that can help me build. Any advice on compressing the coils safely?
I really like the "it used to have some really cool parts on it!".NO, that's the factory lightweight. You can tell by the daylight thru the floorpans!

You are correct sir! I should have known, they make adapters for anything these days.the tranny im looking at is out of a chevy! I was under the impression i could purchase an adapter that will make it mount up. Its going to be connected to a fresh pontiac 400
