Kinda hotrod related: have a pressure washer my dad gave me a few years back. Just now trying to get it running and the carb was filled with what I assume is now varnish. It was disgusting and green.
Cleaned it out, put it back together, and the float won't float anymore. What's my fix? It's a round donut looking float. I have no idea if these are common or proprietary.

sid you clear the oriface in the jets. Some have 1 main jet others have a pilot or low speed jet and then the main or high speed.
That's a nice car but there are SO many clean restorations and concourse cars floating around out there that it just isn't my thing. To contrast; there's a 69 Z28 (or possibly clone) running around the southside occasionally that is obvious is either a barn find rough original or a very old restoration. The paint is dead, there's primer and surface rust peaking thru etc. But when you pay attention to it you notice the stance, performance tires at all 4 corners, big brakes, thumpin' exhaust and neatly tucked in cage. Nothing about this car screams FAST except to the semi-trained eye and given the upgrades he's done I'd LOVE to take this car for a lap on the Schweinefiletring just once.One for WS6

Here's a gold on gold that usually I wouldn't even think about but damn this one is clean. I've asked him which engine it has as i believe they put 2 different 327's in these. I'd much rather have a manual, how much do you think I'm looking at to do the swap? Looks like the "kits" out there are around $3k-$4 but I would assume sourcing non-kit parts it would be around $2k.

Everything seems to straight as can be on it and the limited pics of the underside it looks like you could eat off of it. Hopefully it's has one of the higher output 327's.Its definitely loaded with options.
They offered any of maybe 4 or more 327's from 250 HP 275HP 300HP and the one I would love to have the L-79 350HP offering that would (in proper tune) run with the BB offerings of the day.
I would not put a T-400 behind a factory power level T-400. They are power hungry compared to the T-350 and the T-350 is faster due to this.
